Properties: Antioxidant MB Sulfurflower® is light yellow or white powdery crystal with bitter taste.
Relative density 1.42 ± 0.02g/cm3, soluble in ethanol,
acetone and ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in petroleum ether, dichloromethane,
insoluble in carbon tetrachloride, benzene and water, non-toxic.
Uses: Rubber antioxidant MB can effectively protect against copper damage and overcome the adverse effects caused by oversulfurization. It can retard the effects of accelerators M, DM, TMTD, etc., and has a synergistic effect with amine and phenolic antioxidants. This product does not discolor, it is often used in wires, cables, transparent light-colored products, and also used as a heat stabilizer for polyethylene and polypropylene.
